Monday 4th – Sunday 10th October
Cransley Hospice Trust will be celebrating Hospice Care Week and thanking all our incredible fundraisers and supporters for all that they do to help make a difference to end of life care. As a thank you we will be sending a pack of Wildflower seeds to everyone that donates during Hospice Care Week and throughout October, for supporters to plant and remember their loved ones when they enjoy the beautiful blooms each year.

Tuesday 5th October
Barton Seagrave Horticultural Society meeting at 2pm at Burton Latimer Community Centre, Pioneer Ave. Burton Latimer. Rose Hardy from Rose Hardy’s Plants, and Gold Medal Winner at Chelsea and famous plants woman will be talking about Late Flowering Perennials. Raffle and refreshments.

Friday 8th Oct
Fun quiz evening starting at 7.30pm at All Saints Church Hall, William St, Kettering NN16 9RR – facial coverings if you can please. £2 each includes tea/coffee. Max 4 in a team. Bring your own drinks and nibbles. Raffle available.

Tuesday 12 October
Barton Seagrave W.I. meeting about women’s health, particularly in relation to a resolution passed two years ago. From 10am-noon (note change in time) at Barton Seagrave Village Hall, Bertone Road, Barton Seagrave, NN15 6EF. Further details can be obtained from Linda Law, 01536 659091.

Friday 15th October
Murder Mystery by The Hamitup Players and musical interlude included at Rockingham Rd Baptist Church. Doors open 6pm. £6 per ticket including refreshments. Proceeds towards The Guiding Light Christian Drama Group’s forthcoming charity event. Tickets from Ann 391017 or pay on the door.

Tea Dance from 2.30-4.30pm at All Saints Church Hall, William St, Kettering NN16 9RR – facial coverings if you can please. £3 includes tea/coffee and cake. Raffle available.

Kettering Stamp and Philatelic Society Stamp Fair from 10am-4pm, at Ise Lodge Community centre, St Vincent’s Avenue, Kettering NN15 5DR. Stamps / Collections / Covers Postal History / Accessories. Kettering Civic Society’s Time Travellers room will be open from 9.15am, when the Princess Coronation Class steam locomotive No 46233 stops at Kettering station for water on its way to York. There will be a sale of new and much-loved train related books as well as local history books and maps. Illustrated talk by Mike Stroud on the Tresham family in Northamptonshire at 7.30pm at All Saints Church Hall, William St, Kettering NN16 9RR – facial coverings if you can please. Entry £5 (includes tea/coffee). Raffle available.
