Kettering Stamp & Philatelic Society Dealers’ Evening, 7.30-10.00pm at St. Andrews Church, Art Centre, Kettering, NN16 8RG. Members will have the opportunity to purchase stamps for their collections at very reasonable prices from a selection of invited dealers and purchase, sell, or exchange material between themselves. Pre-loved and new table-top sale, 8.30-11.30am, open to public (set up from 8am) at All Saints Church Hall, William Street, Kettering NN16 9RR. Contact Richard on 07887 617978. You must book a £7 stall in advance. 

Tuesday 7th February 
Barton Seagrave Horticultural Society meeting at 2pm at the Community Centre, Pioneer Avenue, Burton Latimer, with speaker Jeff Bates talking about ‘Clematis and other Climbers’. Raffle and refreshments. All enquiries to Maureen on 01536 723059. 

Wednesday 8th February  
The Ise Archaeological Research Society invites you to a presentation by archaeologist Kathy Pilkinton from Albion Archaeology at 7.30pm in St Andrew’s Church Rooms, Crown St, Kettering NN16 8QA. The talk is “Magiovinium (Fenny Stratford) – excavations on the outskirts of a Roman town.” Entry is £5 for members or £6 for non-members and membership is £11. For more information contact Carol on carolannmorton@aol.co.uk

Guiding Light Christian Drama Group with Inspire Theatre Arts presents Beauty and the Beast at the United Reformed Church, St Peters Avenue, Kettering. Thurs & Fri at 7pm; Saturday at 1.30pm. Fun Quiz evening, 7.30pm at All Saints Church Hall, William Street, Kettering NN16 9RR. £2.50 each, includes tea/coffee. Max 4 in a team. Bring your own drink and nibbles. Raffle. 

Rock ‘n’ Roll night at Midland Band Club, 2 Hallwood Road NN16 9RG, featuring 50’s Flash, 2 Hallwood Road. Doors open at 7pm. Free entry, no tickets needed.  

Monday 20th February 
Nene Valley Organ & Keyboard Club meet with artist is Michael Sullivan, playing Yamaha Tyros 5 and a very wide range of popular music at the Plough Hotel function room, Bridge Street Northampton NN11PD. Visitors £10. Doors open 7pm for 7.30pm (AGM), with the concert closing at 10pm. Free onsite parking. Bar available and raffle. Everyone very welcome.  

Friday 24th Februar
Murder Mystery “Playing Dead” by the Ham-it-Ups at All Saints Church Hall, William Street, Kettering NN16 9RR. 7.30pm start (doors open at 7pm.)  Entry £7 (includes tea & coffee); bring your own drink & nibbles. Raffle available.

You’ll be bowled over at this year’s Kettering Rotary Charity Dinner at Wicksteed Park. Our two fabulously entertaining speakers are David Gower, arguably one of England’s finest captains and players, supported by leading impressionist Kevin Connelly, comedian and star of the BBC’s Dead Ringers. Doors open at 6:30pm with dinner at 7:15pm. Tickets £50, includes 3 course dinner… and lots of laughs!
