Til 7th December
The Burton Latimer Heritage Society’s exhibition ‘Burton in the 1930s – the end of an era’ is open every Thursday & Saturday from 10am-1pm in the Heritage Museum in the Civic Centre opposite Sainsburys. The exhibition shows what Burton Latimer was like in the years leading up to the Second World War. Free admission.

Wednesday 9th October
Mike Luke from Albion Archaeology will be talking about ‘The Excavation of the Bedford Northern By-pass’ which revealed a Bronze Age settlement and Medieval windmills, at 7.30pm at St Andrew’s Church Rooms, Crown St, Kettering NN16 8QE organized by The Ise Archaeological Research Society. RSPB Mid –Nene Local Group meeting, 7.30pm at Saxon Hall in Raunds. There will be an Illustrated talk on ‘Spring in Arizona and the Autumn in Yellowstone’ by Gianpiero Ferrari. Saturday 19th October
Everyone is welcome to join a group from St Botolph’s Church, Barton Seagrave from 12-1pm in Barton Village Hall, Bertone Rd for a time of crafts for children, singing and a gospel talk. It is very relaxed and there is plenty of time to chat with refreshments.

Friends of Kettering Library will be holding a free Children’s Film Club, 2pm at Kettering Library, Sheep St, Kettering NN16 0AY with a recently released, Cert U or PG film. All children aged 4 -11 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Free refreshments will be available for children.

The Royal British Legion Kettering Branch & Roman Originals invite you to a Fashion Show at the Royal Hotel, Market Place, Kettering from 7.30pm. All members and supporters of the Legion, serving or former members of the Forces are invited. Tickets £5 on the door.
