Air Cadets Kettering Squadron

Air cadet activities include Flying, adventure training, leadership training, rock climbing, The Duke of Edinburgh award, Overseas camps, UK camps, various qualification, sports and much much more. The Squadron is open to young people aged 13 and 17 and meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:15pm - 9:30pm at Drill Hall House, Northampton Road, Kettering and the cost is only £8 per calender months. Army Cadet’s Kettering Detachment Details

Board Game Mornings

First Saturday of every month from 10-12 noon at Kettering Library, Sheep St. The games will include chess, draughts and various less familiar games from around the world, with instruction available for all the games. All are welcome, especially teenagers but children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free but there will be a charge for refreshments. Country Parks

All have circular, waymarked and hard-surfaced trails through woodlands and meadows or by rivers, lakes or the reservoir, children’s play area, orienteering trails, designated picnic areas. Plus the Jungle Parc high ropes adventure course at Irchester Country Park. Enjoy lots of amazing activities as you glide through the trees on rope bridges, zip lines and cargo nets.
